I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health and social service field. I have worked in a variety of settings, including community-based, educational/school settings, residential treatment and outpatient clinical services. I have also led therapy groups for co-occurring treatment, parenting and behavioral skill modification to help clients achieve more balanced and mindful living.
My approach is integrative, combining evidence-based techniques like dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with a strengths-based perspective, helping clients focus on their goals and strengths to overcome obstacles. I emphasize a collaborative partnership, working closely with clients to understand their unique experiences, and fostering a therapeutic journey that’s both supportive and empowering.
As your therapist, I strive to provide a therapeutic environment that facilitates comfort and safety through connection and understanding. I believe the client is the expert in their situation and holds the solution to their healing. I believe my role is to facilitate the healing process, through exploration of how lifestyle, relationships and community impact mental well-being. My ideal clients are adults who face mental health challenges and are seeking structured support to regain balance and resilience in their lives.
